Great investment!!! (Report Review)

I debated quite awhile before purchasing the Hoover SteamVac Spin Scrub. But it has been one of the best investments i ever made as far as home appliances. It is fairly easy to use. You only have to fill the tank with water and add a small amount of a good steam cleaning solution. They recommend Hoover products to clean with but i have used products from other companys with great success. You only need to use one capful per tank, and i've found that hotter water works better. The machine has an automatic shut off when the water level is low. For extra tough stains i do pretreat with a spot remover. Their is a tank for the dirty water and you have to have it sitting squarely in place otherwise the dirty water will not come back up. It is easy to see whether it is working properly. I use the SteamVac probably at least to times and the only problem i have had is when i left it out in the shed for awhile and the water hose got cold and cracked and had to be replaced but that was my error.

I do not like the attachments that can be used on upholstery. To me it leaves them a little too damp but my 20 yr. old son uses it also and says he never has any problems. This is the only complaint i have at all for the SteamVac. |
